    Studio 5000 v30 - v32 upgrade?

    Hi everyone

First of all apologies if this has already been asked, a search did not come up with anything.

My problem is this. I am currently working on a project that uses a CompactLogix 5380 (5069-L350ERM). The reason we chose this processor was that it could support 120 Ethernet/IP nodes and we have 90 Interroll MultiControl units on Ethernet/IP.

But, I have now discovered that the processor only supports 60 nodes with firmware v30 and below!

Unfortunately I have Studio 5000 Full Edition v30.00. Is there anyway of "updating" my version 30 to v32 or v33 without paying out the full 6K for a new package?

    Any help would be appreciated..

    Good morning @theribs,

Yeah - unless they changed something in 2020, you should be able to contact your local distributor and get a 1 year self-assist contract for ~$900 that will get you a full year of PLC and HMI software updates (i.e. updates for RSLogix/Studio5000 & FTViewStudioME)

    Hope this helps,
