Data Logging batch values at the end of the batch- AB PV+7 Performance & 5069-L320ER

We have a simple batch system that the user wants to log a series of variables (Batch steps start/stop times, volumes dispensed , total batch elapsed time, etc). I created an array to store the values in the controller, but looking for a means to output it as either text file, CSV to a memory card in the HMI. I've looked at the DataStore active X, but it does not appear to be event driven logging (batch complete tag needs to trigger the log)

Any thoughts or ideas anyone can offer would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Kris

    Good morning @Kris Hamilton,

There is free sample code from Rockwell on how to create a custom text log file on the controller's memory card.

Also, the DataStore Active X does support logging based on a trigger, so you may also want to test that out in ViewStudio.

    Hope this helps,
