    Connecting to existing controller issue

So I am connecting to 1769-L36ERM CompactLogix controller. When I choose the upload option, the CPU of the controller doesnt show up as it does in the forum posted.

    Good morning @MattMatt9,

How are you connecting to the L36ERM? USB, Ethernet, etc?

What version of RSLogix/Studio 5000 are you using?

What does RSLinx Classic (or FactoryTalk Linx) show when your browsing the network?

I do know if you open an old version of RSLogix/Studio 5000/RSLinx, it will not know what a newer processor is.

    Sincerely,
