    How to add media player to Panelview Plus 7

    Good Afternoon Shawn

    I've been tasked to put training videos on our Panelviews for our customers and have done some looking around and have found that ActiveX Control will play however the screen resolution will automatically change to the original size when the video is played. Are you familiar with this problem?
    Thanks
    Alfred

    Good morning @Alfred,

    Are you saying that, when you embed the ActiveX on your display and link it to your video, and then you download the project and run it onto your PVPlus that it resizes on the PVPlus?

    If that is the case please let me know what version of ViewStudio, PVPlus, and ActiveX you are using so I can see if I can duplicate it as that wasn't how it use to work?

    Thanks,

    Good afternoon @Alfred,

    That is very strange - sounds like a bug?

    If there's no way to override the resizing it may be fastest to resize your videos to something smaller than your PVPlus screen?

    It's late Friday afternoon here so I won't have a chance to look at it this week, so if you have a tech connect you might want to reach out to Rockwell,

    Sincerely,

    I finally figure this out! I ended up downloading a video editing software and used it to changed the resolution size of the video. Once this was done the Panelview would play the video at that size. Thanks for responding to my on my issue I really appreciate it!

    @Alfred,

    Awesome! Glad you got it working! Was the software you used free?

    Yeah I'm glad too! Yes there is a free program call Wondershare Filmora9, the free version does leave a watermark at the bottom of the video but its really not that.
